Based in Dallas, Texas, and originally from the North Texas area. I studied film, which

continues to shape how I think about composition, light, and narrative.

I typically make portraits of people close to me—often fellow creatives—placing them

within patterned environments that reflect how I see them. The work is as much about

relationship and memory as it is about likeness.

Medium

I work primarily with duct tape, a material I came to unexpectedly. Without access to

traditional supplies, I used what was available, and it became a natural fit. I’ve continued

with it ever since, building images through layering and tone.
