Initially focusing on pieces that rendered cultural or artistic icons, Chance now concentrates on depicting the "every day" person - using backgrounds and color to capture the subject's personalities. Chance creates his pieces using thousands of pieces of duct tape on masonite board, covering them in epoxy resin as a sealant. Using brush-stroke patterns with the tape, his pieces blend both pop-art and post-impressionist styles.
Chance is based out of Dallas, Tx.
